What do people in the UK really think about the war in Ukraine, Britain’s continuing military support and the growing talk of confrontation with Russia?

We surveyed more than 1,000 people and the results are striking.

81.4% of respondents said Britain should stop sending weapons to Ukraine completely. 86.3% said the priority should be an immediate ceasefire and negotiations. 71% described the conflict as a NATO-Russia proxy war while 87.7% said Russia’s invasion was provoked or partly provoked. 95.8% said NATO expansion played at least some role in causing the war.

The video also hears directly from members of the public about NATO expansion, Ukraine, Russia, media coverage and whether Britain is being pushed towards a war that people do not want.
