Claire Kerrison was advised to write to her MP (as well as the government) to stop Israel’s attacks on the flotilla taking food to Gaza. She then emailed about the ‘hunger games’ being used by US and Israeli forces in Rafah. It wasn’t long before the police knocked on her door in the early hours of the morning and she was threatened with a two year prison sentence.
