Why is this not making national media?

The weekly picket in Swiss Cottage calling for the extradition of Israel’s Ambassador, Tzipi Hotovely, has been taking place since October 2023.

With Israel being found to have committed genocide in Gaza by the International Court of Justice and arrest warrants out for Benjamin Netanyahu, this is entirely justified.

In recent weeks, the picket has been violently attacked by Zionists thugs prompted by articles in the Jewish Chronicle. This happened at the same time as the Metropolitan Police posted requests to local residents asking for complaints to be made about the picket.

With these moves failing to intimidate the picket organisers, the Metropolitan Police decided to ban the protest entirely by issuing a statement that the picket ‘must take place’ in Kings Cross (three miles from the Israel Ambassador’s residence).

When a protest against the police decision was staged outside New Scotland Yard, the police then told the organisers that they were prohibited from mentioning the Israel Ambassador’s name. We hear from one of the organisers of the protest, IJAN’s Jonathan Fluxman.
